365 Project Day 243: The Bread Puddingest

Know what bread pudding is? If you're not from the south, you may have never heard of it. It's a staple of New Orleans cuisine, but usually not at all vegan! Once again, Seed comes to the rescue with this vegan version of a Nola favorite. Speaking of which: for the month of September - during VeganMoFo - I'll be focusing in on those food items made in and unique to the Crescent City. Join in the fun, won't you?

365 Project Day 214: Genuinely Great Gumbo

Vegan gumbo from Praline Connection at the 2013 Treme Creole Gumbo Fest!
While it isn't a regular menu item, they do always have excellent vegan beans and rice dishes available.  Also, I can't wait to see what vegan options will be available at this year's Gumbo Fest!  (If you'd like to make sure that vegan options are available, contact the organizers!)
