My First King Cake.

Not the first one I've eaten, of course - I don't think even my mama could pinpoint when I first tasted that sugar-coated cinnamon-rolled baby-booby-trapped goodness. This, however, is the first time I've been brave enough to bake a king cake. (And a vegan one at that, of course.)

It's only the second yeasted thing I've ever made, and my first experience with "punching down" dough. There were many steps, but it wasn't difficult. And if I do say so myself, it came out gorgeous...
